Your Dog Has a Soul
I photograph that

Not just the wagging tail. Not just the floppy ears or the ridiculous face they make when they want a treat.

The real them.

The way they watch you from across the room. The way they press against you when the world feels like too much. The way they love you. Completely, quietly, without condition.

That’s what a PupShot captures. Not a pose. A presence.

This Isn't Just Photography.
It's Communication

Most dogs can sense the moment someone wants something from them. The energy shifts. They feel the pressure. And just like that, the real them disappears behind a closed-off stare or a restless body that won’t stay still.

I work differently.

As an animal communicator and energy practitioner, I don’t just point a camera at your dog. I connect with them first. I read what they’re feeling. I meet them where they are. I let them set the pace.

When a dog feels truly seen, not managed, not coaxed, not bribed, something opens up. That’s when the magic happens. That’s when their personality fills the frame.

Every image I make is a reflection of who your dog actually is. And you’ll know it the moment you see it.

Your PupShots Experience

Step 1: Let's Talk
The Consultation

Every great session starts with a real conversation about your dog.

Their personality. Their quirks. What makes them light up and what makes them shut down. Whether they're a social butterfly or a one-person-universe. Whether "sit" is their superpower or their nemesis.

This isn't just logistics. This is how I begin tuning in to your dog's energy before we've even met. By the time we show up together, I already know a little something about who I'm photographing.

We'll also figure out everything you need: location, timing, whether you want to be in the shots, wardrobe ideas if you do, and what kind of artwork you're dreaming of for your walls.

Step 2: The Session Itself
The Magic

Here's what you won't find at a PupShots session: a frantic attempt to get your dog to perform on command.

Here's what you will find: calm. Intention. A space where your dog feels safe enough to just be.

I regulate my own energy first, because dogs read us like a book. When I'm steady, they settle. When I'm present, they engage. From there, I follow their lead. I use animal communication techniques to understand what your dog needs in each moment. Space, play, gentle encouragement, or simply quiet companionship while they work up the confidence to shine.

The result is a session that feels less like a photo shoot and more like a really good day out with someone who genuinely gets your dog.

Studio, backyard, beach, park, your living room. Wherever your dog feels most like themselves, that's where we go.

Step 3: The Reveal
Your Favorites, Right Away

Right after the session, we sit down together and go through your best images. No waiting weeks. No guessing. You see everything while the joy of the day is still fresh.

You choose the ones that stop you. The ones where you see them. The ones that make you catch your breath a little.

Step 4: Your Portraits, Delivered
Artwork That Lasts

Your chosen images are professionally retouched. Leashes removed, light perfected, your dog's personality front and center. Then they become something real: wall art, albums, keepsakes that live somewhere other than your camera roll.

These aren't files you forget about. These are the ones that end up on the wall. The ones guests stop and look at. The ones you'll be grateful you have.

Where do you want to shoot?

In the Studio Clean backgrounds. Controlled light. Pure focus on your dog. Perfect for portraits where their face, and all the personality in it, is the whole story.

On Location A favorite trail, the beach, the park where you do your Sunday walks. Familiar smells and surroundings mean a relaxed dog. And a relaxed dog means everything.

At Your Home For some dogs, home is where they’re most fully themselves. That couch they’ve claimed. That patch of sunlight they guard every afternoon. We photograph them in their kingdom.

Clearing your Worries

What if my dog can't be off the lead?

Not a problem!  In fact, I prefer it if your pup is on a leash.  Safety is my top priority.  The only time they should be off a leash is if we are in a fenced area, your own home or if you are 100% confident in their recall.

All leashes will be re-moved in post-processing from images.  As seen in the before and after image.

My pup is nervous. Is that OK?

Yes, of course. We’ll take our time so they can settle in and become more comfortable.
Make sure to let me know this in our planning session

Is my dog too old for photos?

Not at all.  We will be very gentle and make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible.  It’s important to capture the love you have for each other.

What if my dog doesn’t listen to commands?

That’s OK.  We will work at your dog’s pace.  I have lots of tricks and treats to gain their attention and get images you will love.  Don’t let this stop you from booking to get those cherished memories.

What happens if it rains?

If it rains, and our session is scheduled for outside we have choices.   We can either go to your home or my studio or reschedule for another day.

Your Dog Is Only This Age Once.

The way they look right now. The way they tilt their head at that particular angle. The way they still fit perfectly in your lap even though they definitely shouldn’t.

This is the moment. Not someday. Now.

Let’s make something you’ll treasure for the rest of your life, and something that honors theirs.
